THOUGHTS FOR EACH DAY

The LORD has given us dominion over this earth and all that is in it. That dominion encompasses, land, animal, people and the spiritual realm. the question that ensues, is, are we going to take up our authority, or will we abdicate our role? We are ultimately destined to rule with Christ, this is practice for what is to come (Gen.1:26-28; Ps.8:5-8; 115:16).

We need to rule with the heart of the Father and in the power of the Holy Spirit taking down strongholds of the enemy in the name of Jesus. If we don’t want the mantle of rulership now, what will we do in the Kingdom of God? If we don’t rule with the heart of the Father now, why do we want to go to heaven? If we don’t take down strongholds of the enemy now, in the name of Jesus, what was the point of the cross?

May we take hold of all that Jesus died to give us.
